* SHOCK NEWS* Dog Hijacks Blog

the author is away doing school visits and riding on gondolas, so i'm taking my chance and getting my paws on the computer. willow the dastardly dandie dinmont here. the one who chases the rabid rabbits. the handsome one at the top of the page with a blonde hairdo--sort of a short daniel craig i like to think. anyway--while she's deserted me i've given an all-revealing hard-hitting interview to my friend amigo the golden retriever over at his pets and authors blog. if you want to read all about it (all the dirt, i mean), hop on over there now. right, this typing stuff is tiring (and i can't work out the shifty key thing). off for a nap now. she'll be back in a week or so to write some more gloomy stuff, about depression probably. can't see it myself--what's to be depressed about when you've got a garden full of good smells and nice stuff to roll in? she should try it sometime. eau de badger--nothing better for the spirits. though come to think of it she dumps me in the sink when i do it. what is it with these humans and washing? snooooooorrrrre.....

hi there, willow. amigo here. I love that you have hijacked lucy's blog. she left a comment on my blog yesterday boasting that you had been grounded. she's trying to save her name, i believe--but i don't blame her. i sent two CIA guys over to your house yesterday and they must have given her quite a scare. i don't think she'll bother you anymore...

No good stuff for Rascal to roll in, not with all that snow, but we are driving her to town today where the sidewalks are clear and taking her to Bentley's Corner Barkery, her favorite hangout.

Hi Willow.

Since your typing is coming on so well, how would you like to write us a short piece for our club magazine? We're the Dandie Dinmont Terrier Club, and our magazine is celebrating its hundredth anniversary this year.

We would love to have an article written by a Dandie with his own author, but we are no longer able to ask the Dandies owned by Sir Walter Scott, Dr John Brown, Agatha Christie, Dorothy Parker or John Galsworthy. As such a literate dog with a literary owner, you probably appreciate your literary ancestry.

If you would like to help, please get in touch with us through our website, www.ddtc.co.uk or send us a wee-mail.

Oh, and I believe Winston Churchill referred to depression as a black dog - mustard or pepper ones are only manic!

of course i'm very important. i am a dinmont. goes with the territory. i've emailed this schrishton person and accepted. suppose i'll have to write a bit about the author person--will keep it to a minimum so no one is bored. i am much more interesting.
